Tote Zeugen im hohen Norden: Bjørn Bottolvs Debüt
Bjørn Bottolvs entführt den Leser in den hohen Norden, genauer gesagt nach Norwegen. Der Streifenpolizisten Jo Kaasa erlebt den Alptraum eines jeden Polizisten: er soll einem Menschen die Nachricht vom Tot seiner Familie überbringen. Gemeinsam mit seiner Kollegin Riita, muss er einem Arzt über den Unfalltod seiner Frau und seiner Tochter informieren. Aber niemand öffnet ihnen und als sie die Tür aufbrechen, finden sie die Leiche des Adressaten der traurigen Botschaft. Der Arzt wurde ermordet. Wer ist Schuld an diesem Familiendrama? Und welche Verbindung gibt es zu dem Mordfall, mit dem die beiden gleich darauf konfrontiert werden?
Jo und Riita stoßen bei ihren Ermittlungen auf ein ganze Sammelsurium von skurrilen Gestalten, wie man sie nur in einem Thriller aus dem hohen Norden finden kann. Gebrochene Menschen, unvorhersehbar Wendungen, dunkle Geheimnisse.
Bjørn Bottolvs war selber Polizist, bevor er mit dem Schreiben begann. In Norwegen sind schon mehrere Bücher von ihm erschienen, auf dem deutschen Markt ist „Tote Zeugen lügen nicht“ seine Premiere. Als Leser kann man nur die Daumen drücken, dass das Buch erfolgreich ist und der Knaur Verlag noch weitere Geschichten von Bjørn Bottolvs veröffentlicht, denn das Polizei-Duo Jo & Riita wächst einem rasend schnell ans Herz. „Tote Zeugen lügen nicht“ ist für alle Fans von skandinavischen Krimis ein echter Tipp, denn der Lokalkoloriert und dieses magisch Nordische machen den besonderen Reiz des Buches aus.
Noch gibt es keine konkreten Pläne für eine Verfilmung, aber wenn man das Buch gelesen hat, kann man sich eigentlich sicher sein, das es garantiert eine Serienauswertung geben wird.
