Thriller eBooks: Anleitung für Autoren
Viele Krimi- und Thriller-Fans umtreibt ein Wunsch: endlich ein eigenes Buch schreiben! Das Kulturmagazin Perlentaucher zählt aktuell über 21.000 Autoren, bei Amazon werden aktuell über 48.000 deutschsprachige Thriller gezählt. Die Dunkelziffer unbekannter Autoren dürfte allerdings noch viel höher liegen. Doch wie schreibt man ein gutes Thriller eBook? Wie schaffe ich es als Autor, trotz einer guten Idee mit meinem Krimi aus der Masse herauszuragen? Was gilt es zu beachten?
Hier könnte die große Amazon-Krimiumfrage helfen. Laut eigener Aussage zeigen die Ergebnisse der nicht repräsentativen Studie die Zutaten zum Schreiben des perfekten Thrillers unter Berücksichtigung des Geschlechts der Leser.
Im Folgenden listet Thriller-eBooks die wichtigsten Erkenntnisse der Befragung auf. Wer weiß, vielleicht befasst sich die nächste eBook Vorstellung schon mit Ihrem Thriller 
1.) Das Szenario
Egal welches Geschlecht oder Alter Ihre Zielgruppe hat, um einen Volltreffer in den Bestsellerlisten zu landen braucht Ihr Thriller viel Blut. 77% der befragten Männer und 81% der befragten Frauen mögen ihre Thriller, wie der durchschnittliche Engländer sein Steak: möglichst blutig. Darüber hinaus ist für die Handlung ein internationales Szenario zu wählen und es sollte mindestens ein Mord geschehen.
2.) Die Spannungskurve
Die Tatsache, dass sich Psycho-Thriller von Simon Beckett oder Sebastian Fitzek einer so großen Beliebtheit erfreuen ist kein Zufall: die Leser mögen es spannend und nervenaufreibend! Leider scheinen nicht alle Krimi-Autoren die Begabung zu haben einen ordentlichen Spannungsverlauf in ihrer Handlung zu haben. So gaben 9% der Befragten Frauen (5% der Männer) an, den Täter schon nach den ersten Seiten zu kennen. Vielleicht machen die meisten Autoren aber doch einen guten Job, da immerhin 19% der Frauen und 10% der Männer die Spannung des eBook nicht aushalten und vorzeitig die letzten Seiten mit der Auflösung des Falls lesen. Anmerkung der Redaktion: wäre es nicht möglich die Menschen vor sich selbst zu schützen und eine elektronische Sperre in eBooks einzubauen, die das vorzeitige Enthüllen der Lösung verhindern?!
3.) Sex Sells
Was im Vorabendprogramm der (privaten) Fernsehsender funktioniert scheint sich auch in der Literatur zu bestätigen: 45% der Männer mögen prickelnde Erotik in der Handlung. Bei den Frauen hingegen bevorzugen nur 14% ein intimes Techtelmechtel zum Meuchelmord.
