Markus Stromiedel ist ein erfolgreicher Drehbuchautor (u.a. für den Tatort und Stubbe von Fall zu Fall) und er erzählt äußerst spannend und bildlich. „Feuertaufe“ zeigt ein Berlin, wie wir es alle lieber nicht sehen wollen, einen Staat, in dem sich die Überwachung völlig verselbständigt hat. Ein gelungener Thriller mit Tiefgang und einer bis zum Ende spannenden Handlung.
Andreas Franz siedelt die Handlung von „Eisige Nähe“ im hohen deutschen Norden an. Der Kieler Musikproduzent Peter Bruhns wird tot in seinem Penthouse gefunden. Zusammen mit seiner Geliebten. Die Polizei vermutet zunächst Selbstmord, aber schnell wird klar, das hier ein Profi am Werke war, denn die gefundenen DNA-Spuren decken sich mit den Spuren von mehreren anderen Mordfällen der Vergangenheit. Das Ermittlerduo Sören Henning und Lisa Santos nimmt die Arbeit auf und kommt einem Serienkiller auf die Spur, der sein Unwesen unter den Reichen und Erfolgreichen treibt. Aber sie kommen auch einem Geheimnis mit politischen Dimensionen auf die Spur, das sich als eine Nummer zu groß für die beiden erweist. Spannend und routiniert entwirft Andreas Franz seinen Plot und garantiert wie gewohnt gute Unterhaltung.
