Düstere Legenden: Judassohn von Markus Heitz
Markus Heitz schwimmt auf einer Welle des Erfolges und veröffentlicht ein Buch nach dem anderen. Dabei springt er mühelos zwischen den Genres hin und her, umschifft jede Klippe der Wiederholung und schafft es mit nahezu jedem Buch die Bestsellerlisten zu stürmen.
Sein neues Buch „Judassohn“ ist die Fortsetzung von „Kinder des Judas“ und „Blutportale“ kann aber auch ohne Verständnisschwierigkeiten als Einstieg in die fantastische Welt der Vampire gelesen werden. Für Stammleser bietet „Judassohn“ die Möglichkeit viele fehlende Puzzleteile aus den Vorgängerbücher neu zu sortieren und so das Gesamtbild immer weiter zu verfeinern.
Die Handlung führt vom Leipzig der Jetztzeit ins vorrevolutionäre Frankreich und schließt den Kreis in die Gegenwart zurück. Im Mittelpunkt der Geschichte steht Theresia Sarkowitz, genannt Sia, die im Glauben lebt die letzte ihrer Art zu sein. Doch sie muss feststellen, das es noch ein anderes Judaskind gibt. Und dieses sucht sie seit Jahrhunderten, um ihrem Leben ein Ende zu setzen. Ein gefährlicher Wettlauf beginnt, denn die Kräfte von Sia’s Gegner sind bedrohlich. Das Buch steigert sein Tempo im Laufe der Handlung immer mehr und strebt auf ein furioses Finale zu. Und hat man dieses Ende gelesen, wird man sehnsüchtig auf den 01.12.2010 warten, denn dann erscheint die bereits avisierte Fortsetzung „Judastöchter“.
Kurzum wer Vampire nicht im neuen Kuschellook mag, sondern als düstere Wesen mit einer langen Geschichte und auf anspruchsvolle und sprachlich hochwertige Literatur mit Thrill steht, der sollte unbedingt „Judassohn“ lesen. Aber Vorsicht, das Buch kann süchtig machen und wenn man einmal im Universum von Markus Heitz gefangen ist, gibt es kein Entkommen mehr.
