Gisa Klönne wurde 1964 im schwäbischen Stuttgart geboren. Nach ihrem Abitur studierte sie zuerst in Darmstadt und Guildford (Großbritannien), bevor es sie ins rheinische Köln verschlug. Neben den wechselnden Studienorten verrät auch ein Blick in den Lebenslauf der Krimiautorin deren vielfältige Interessen. So studierte sie Politilogie, Anglistik, Germanistik, sowie Film- und Fernsehwissenschaften, bis sie schließlich mit Erreichen des Magister Artium ihr Studium beendete. Die nachfolgenden Stationen waren ebenso turbulent: als Journalistin schrieb sie unter anderem für die feministische Frauenzeitschrift EMMA, die Frankfurter Rundschau und den Kölner Stadtanzeiger aber auch für Magazine, wie z.B. Freundin. Nebenbei dozierte Gisa Klönne an verschiedenen Orten über kreatives Schreiben und über den Beruf des Journalisten.
Die nachfolgende Tätigkeit als Krimiautorin sollte sie noch erfolgreicher machen. So wurde sie in den letzten Jahren mehrfach für den renommierten Friedrich-Glauser-Preis nominiert, den sie 2009 in der Spart “Bester Kriminalroman” auch gewann. Sie ist Mitglied im Verband der Schriftsteller (VS) und im Journalistenbund. Von 2006 bis 2008 vertrat sie den Verband deutscher Krimiautoren “Das Syndikat” als Sprecherin.
Gisa Klönne ist verheiratet und lebt in Köln. In ihrer einstigen Studienstadt spielen auch die bedeutendsten Bücher von Gisa Klönne, die Krimireihe um die Kommissarin Judith Krieger.
Hier gibt es noch eine Besprechung ihres Buches “Farben der Schuld”, die am 09. August 2009 bei WDR2 ausgestrahlt wurde. Alle ihre Bücher sind im Ullstein Verlag erschienen und werden nach und nach auch als eBook veröffentlicht. Bei weiterem Interesse finden sich auf der Website der Autorin noch Termine mit Lesungen.
